Patwari arrested for bribe

HAFIZABAD:
Anti-corruption establishment arrested a Patwari on charge of receiving bribe on Thursday.
Rana Nisar Ahmad had submitted a written application to District and Sessions Judge in which he had alleged Patwari Munawar Ahmad received Rs 10,000 bribe for transferring land. Anti-corruption Rana Muhammad Ramzan along with constable Zafar Iqbal and Magistrate Saadat Rasool on the direction of District Session raided Patwar Khana where they arrested the Patwari Munawar red handed.
GIRL SHOT DEAD:
A youth gunned down 22-year-old girl at village Manjiwan. Asif’s brother Riaz engaged with Shameem Kousar, a few months ago, but Asif was suspected her character. On the day of the incident, Asif killed Shameem Akhtar. Police have registered a case.
